Beauty and the Beast live in KL BABY !

advertised heavily as the super talkabout-overrated-expensive RM350 disney show around town , by CIMB BANK ( obviously a scheme to get us to sign up as their credit card holder to enjoy discounts)

24th June– 8pm (Delay til 8.20pm , Malaysia BOLEH) .lucky lucky gapnap took the opportunity ..to view their FIRST show at KL convention center (don’t jealous lah)

Being a Musician , classical freak and soundtrack freak myself , of course lah i have to go to Beauty and the Beast .. looking forward to hear their music LIVE !

to some of ya’ll composers , especially those classical freaks ..try Beauty and the Beast soundtrack , you will realized that the composer is a GENIUS ..very beautiful and Rich ..and super complicated too..

Dono what kinda weird ass arrangement , suddenly major then minor then major again ..yea.anyway ..wanted to go there mainly for the music lah ..

Firstly …This show cost a bomb ..

dude ..RM350 per ticket ? ..( and i paid for two ,wonder who was that lucky girl :p )

and ..for a RM350 Ticket …My view was :

actually , it was pretty shitty ..

uhh..wait..it was terribly shitty..i was expecting so much more ..the right hand corner i tak boleh see ..:(

Right ..as expected ..The orchestra (couldn’t see them ,they were like right below the stage ) were AMAZING ..

whole bunch of Violin SHREDDERS there ..and i swear i heard some GUITAR too ! plus ..the Timing was flawless ..definitely world class orchestra level ..yeah ! ..

and the show ..well i don’t wanna spoil it for ya’ll …but it was up to that professional standard , the singing was pretty awesome ..(i think the main characters cannot sing as well as the side characters lah ..like Mrs Teapot , and Gaston’s side kick , best 2 vocals for me )

Anyway ..about the actors ..

Beauty isn’t really that beauty lah ..and ..Beast is not a beast , he is a breast face

lets compare beauty with the younger belle in 1991

……..i think i would rather do the cartoon version..

Next , believe it or not ..the Ushers , event organizers looks like KIDS wei ! confirm some University College student ..aiyoh..kids..

CIMB run out of budget ? and ..the souvenirs ...is damn UGLY..wonder who will buy it ..

ugly as **** ..and trust me this rubbish cost above RM50..

i think petaling street dolls are 3 times better ..

This 2 won the award of wankers of Beauty and the Breast ,

2 wankers , one love to wank with wax and fire , one love to wank with wood

throughout the show all they did was wank talking and talking trash ..such as

“If i am Human , i am gonna bang shitloads of girls”

“If i am Human , i am gonna eat some pork”

Anyway …overall

the Hero of Beauty and the Beast surprisingly was ..

GASTON !! SUPER HEROIC CHARACTER . with 3 chicks by his side . SUPER PIMP

in the cartoon , he was a super-hate character ..but in this broadway play ..shit ..

i love him ..chicks love him ..think about it man ...BUFF ASS LOOKING GUY , GOOD LOOKING , SUPER SINGER and he can dance too!

ya .anyway , he was my type of hero at the end of the credits , he got the LOUDEST CHEERS ..even more than Beauty and the Breast ..i am not the only one ..

i think as you grow older , you will start cheering for the bad guys more than the good guys

TO Gaston: …seriously ..i was cheering for you when you were kicking Beast’s ass ..but at the balcony part…i am sorry that you have to purposely fall down lah ..

how i wished you were the one that pawned beast ..then you can proceed to pawn that 2 wankers above

Anyway , guess what …towards the ending..the “kan chiong part” when GASTON VS PUSSY BEAST fight scene …suddenly there was a black out and announcement

“we are sorry , due to technical problems ..the show has to stop bla bla bla bla thank you for your patience” and the crowd waited for 10 minutes for everything to continue lah..

i shouted ..”WOI ! WHO is TOUCHING MY ASS” in the dark ..haha

like WTF ? dude , you think i paying RM10 for a Movie ticket in GSC ah ? Malaysia BOLEH ..again..

Okay lah ..dowanna be too discouraging ..but the best part of the show is ..hey ..look what i found at the armrest of my seat

WAH..i always watched “who wants to be a millionaire” and always wonder. whenever the contestant ask the public to Vote ..how they do it ? by paper or what ?

now i know ..hehehe

Okay , on a *serious and mature* note…the storyline ..last time i watched the cartoon when i was a kid ..it was different ..you only wanted to see fights fights fights..but now 22 years old ..i see things differently

..some of the things that struck me

1.There was a scene beast took out a magic mirror and let belle see anything she desires.. she asked for her father , her father was looking for her in the woods and he looks like he was suffering lah ..

Beast and the “house gang” ..wanted to keep bell in the house as their prisoner …so that she can fall in love with beast and break the curse. Beast was self centered ..but he loved her ..he understood love ..and he let her go back to her father and set her free…he gave up everything that he wanted (breaking the curse) to let Belle have what she wants ..the whole gang in the house was disappointed with the beast’s decision …..that was an amazing scene for me ..

sometimes in a relationship when we are full of ourselves ..we think about ourselves , what we want ,what we desire …now i ask you..what about what she wants ? how about giving up what you want for the ones you love

The opposite character

2.Gaston . When he realized that he couldn’t get what he wants ( he wanted to marry Belle ) ..he influence the whole village to gang up and slay the beast by falsely accusing the beast will eat the children and destroy the village..plus he use alot of dirty methods to threaten belle to get married with him ..everybody was supporting Gaston ..from the play ,you can clearly see , the way Gaston talks to the villagers , FULL OF CHARISMA and Energy .SUPER INFLUENTIAL ….he said to them “take anything you want , but the beast is mine”

The villagers ( public) was soo easily influenced and too blind to see that Gaston is just another wanker ,what he did will only cause pain and misery

i dono about you , but this kinda people ..reminds me of certain people in our country’s politics whoops..

Okay lah ..overall ..the show was quite enjoyable ..gapnap’s ratings..

Music 10/10

Singing 10/10

Acting 9/10

Makeups and Costumes 9/10

Backdrop 6/10 they used LCD projected screens for certain scenes, noobs haha

Chicks 1/10 ..No chicks in the play ..really..

Chicks among the crowd 1/10 ..all old aunties ..can’t remember seeing any

Chick beside me 10/10 duh.

Studs 10/10 GASTON ! wah..i am turning gay

Price 5/10 i think they should lower it abit lah

Toilet 5/10 the public toilet too small lah

Overall give it 7.5/10 lah

Anyway , it is worth going ONCE in a lifetime (only once , yeah , no second time please , too expensive )

to people who still wanna go ..please please please...DO NOT GET RM250 ticket ..its all the way back to the end ..its either RM350 or RM150 level 3 nearest to the stage , or nothing yea?
