So , ok lah ..actually i find Cannon Rock abit annoying lor ..everybody is talking about it.. like it is the greatest shred song ever ….zzz

But remember this post ? yeah..so i don’t bash Cannon Rock or JerryC ..

but ..i don’t really like Funtwo …

First of all , i think JerryC has a better technique , and also a better touch/dynamics ..(and some will disagree with me) ..but i still think both players are wankers ..just that 1 wanker wanks better than the other ..

when he was with his cap , he looks more mysterious lor ….like some cool kid shredder..in the second video , you will see funtwo topless capless ..after seeing him ..i was like ..

shit ..he looks like some guy i would bully during high school ..the bloody annoying center parting , specs , rabbit tooth , geeky looking guy ..i feel like slapping him ..

and with that kind of playing ..watch the vids ..the bends , the pitch , the mistakes ..etc…

i think i would be damn shy to play in front of Satriani lor. ..

oh yea , where is the sweep picking funtwo ? scared make mistake is it ? lol..

anyway , at the same time ..i gotta remind myself ..not to judge a player based on youtube or recordings ..

1.If a player appears sucky . maybe out of 200 gigs , 190 was good ..the other 10 he screw up ..cannot label him as a crappy player right ?

2.If a player appears to be good ..hmm…don’t forget in youtube and recordings , a player has the opportunity to take 100 videos and select the best one ..

so i think the best way to judge a player online (without knowing him) ..is by watching at least 20 videos of live playing lah ..

if a player suck at recording . means he confirm suck lah .

that is why , sometimes i see forumers , bashing John Petrucci , saying he was sloppy at live at budoken ..are seriously damn dumb lor ..(they can even point out the time and the technique , like they bloody live for bashing one’s reputation)

John Petrucci has contributed more than 10000 awesome videos ..and just because of a small screw up that happens once in a blue moon …doesn’t make him a sloppy player ..get it ? you think he God ah ? people human only , sure got mistakes lah ..

anyway , going back..yea ..my friends always ask me to smile when i gig ..(which i don’t ..i always give that serious look like i’m playing for a funeral) ..

after watching the Funtwo playing live with Satriani ..i think i better don’t smile loh..smiling makes you look gay on the stage …
