Today , i learned that being successful is not about you getting something , but giving ..

Every guitar store in the world should thank PlayStation , Gibson and Guitar Hero (or whoever that is involve)
Now or days , many many kids wanna learn guitar after playing “guitar hero”
i wanna be a guitar hero ! i wanna be a guitar hero !
This will benefit everybody who is in the music and entertainment industry.
1.More guitarist , more business to do
Babe , from Guitar Lessons , to Selling Electric Guitars , to more people appreciating guitar solos ..the money is there
2.Kurt Cobain killed guitar solos in the 90s . Today , Guitar Solos are coming back to life !
Just take a listen to modern music , My Chemical Romance , Dragonforce , A7X , JerryC ..plenty of Solos in there..
3.Give it 2-3 more years , it is going to be COOL to be a guitarist/shredder . DJ club hitz , hip hop , RNB and dancing will be outdated .Just like how break dancing and foosball was super hot 5 years ago , and what happened to breakers and foosballers now ? We get the chicks , We get the money . yay !
*Point 3 is actually happening ..5 years ago , clubs were all about dancing , and club hitz . TODAY , 9pm-12am you have CLUB/PUB bands .The crowd wants it , the demand is growing, the market is developing.
So, GO LEARN HOW TO PLAY GUITAR PROPERLY . The trend is there . Guitar Solos were dead during the 90s. We have been suffering for the last 20 years .
We can choose to be more than this , we can be slaves, or we can be LYCANS SHREDDERS !

Around mid of ‘07 , while i was still teaching in Subang Jaya
A student’s parent was talking to me about their budget (RM300-RM400) on an electric guitar and an amp .Which is freaking low..
In the end , i got him a USED yamaha E313 for like RM200 or something with a RM150 china brand amp..
After a few weeks , i found out that my student’s dad just spend RM1000+ on a guitar hero world tour set (guitar , drums and mic)
RM1000?!?!?!?!?!
I mean , come on , for RM1000 you can get a decent Yamaha PAC012 and a Roland Microcube
Are these toys really that valuable ?

they will answer ..

The younger generation guitarist will go through something like this..
Kid “Dude , you’re such a great guitarist , who inspired you?”
you ” i have no idea , i think the popular guitar hero on Xbox or Playstation made me wanted to become a guitar hero”

for me , a guitarist without a guitar hero , is the same thing as ..
Kid ” Mom , how did you and dad met ? what was it like to be in love? “
Mom ” in love ? its more like in lust . we met at a club , both of us were drunk . and daddy was so excited that he didn’t wear protection , and you came like that. We got married because of you, now go to bed you small little bastard ! ”

my dream is to play silence followed by a deafening roar while a chick is blowing me. goddamn, the roar is gonna be so loud bebeh!!!!!!! RAWRRRRRRRR!!! hopefully i won’t have to do anything. and by the time the rawr is finished she’d be all wet…

eh, put a guitar hero set in MusicMaster lah. to be honest, ive never played guitar hero.

You DO realize that I was a Guitar Hero Runner-up Champion right?
I realize my picking got better BECAUSE of guitar hero, and my fretting for guitar hero was better BECAUSE of playing real guitar.
And yes, I play guitar hero using a pick…… more natural to me. Heck, when ever there is a pinch harmonic in the Guitar Hero game, I tend to do a pinch on my guitar controller……. :p

If you use Jazz III can shred faster on the guitar heros guitar or not ?
