When a chick says

means she confirm like you . Teaching chicks guitar is super seductive ..
imagine , correcting her fingers and playing with them , whispering in her ears and smelling her hair , telling her she’s a naughty girl cause she forgot to do her homework
oh shit , better not send your daughters/girlfriend to me .
Some of you may know , i started a lelong store on May’09 .Like 2 months ago ?
Why ? for hope of course . i always thought that lelong.com.my is a unique market that i haven’t reach .
After 2 month of enjoying the service , yeah sure there were some sales generated from there, especially people from Sabah & Sarawak …but..
Rant #1 The process
The process of getting verified is a pain in the ass . Because i am going under “business owner” ..i heard being verified as a seller is much easier ..
I have to submit all my documents including my license , registration form , current account , telephone bills..etc
Oklah , fine . Sounds fair . I mean it is a good thing that lelong.com.my has a good security system to prevent fraud .
So that i abit bo-song already , but still boleh tahan lah ..not thatttt piss yet..
Rant #2 The Spam
After starting my lelong store for 2 weeks , i felt that it was a bad decision .
Why?
there is a **cking spammer spamming the whole site ..

just type ..”Guitar” on lelong.com.my , you will see REPEATING post of this dude’s product..
and the worst part was , he has taken ALL the keywords that is related to guitar..
including “Ibanez” “Epiphone” “Fender”
and , he is not even selling them ..Ibanez alike guitar yeah ..

Ok lah , it is a business competition right? may the best man wins .
i will be totally cool , if wanchoon pawn the shit out of me fair and square and i am the loser . really .
The thing is , i am selling THE REAL THING , a genuine Ibanez that is made in JAPAN .
and his cheap ass China made Ibanez Alike guitar has a better ranking than mine ? what the heck man..
I emailed lelong about this spamming matter , oh yeah they responded with something like
“Wan Choon is paying some high price to get his ads to the top”
so , money talks , even spam also can jalan lah ? ok nvm . fair
Rant #3 the bomb
Today i found out ..

(yes lah i damn outdated)
and of course , wanchoon is the first to sign up as a premium user (just happened)

I can get 200 hits in Jamtank within 3 hours
In Lelong i get 20 hits for 1 week .
come to think about it , i am damn glad that this whole “sell musical instrument online” is not my only rice bowl..
at least i have my events , equipment rental , jamming studio , walk in customers and guitar lessons to back me up …
the whole industry is going down because of a greed-money-making-ranking system.

can’t agree more on what you’ve said
gapnap stuff only appear in the last few pages when you type ‘guitar’ under the lelong search button (save the best for last?)
and what appear in the first 10 page were the same old stuff…really annoying
and some of those stuff were already there for years

seriously, last week when u ask me to look at lelong time, the same dude appears. the most irritating thing was Ibanez Alike, common la, dont use ibanez keyword la. its just alike. and ur paying too, not to say using them for free

I’ve always thought that in this market, your average Joe is more interested in a cheaper knock-off anyway. Serious ones will invest the time and effort to search for the right thing and that’s the clients you want, right? I mean, would being top of the list make a diff if the overwhelming majorty want cheaper products. So… methinks you may be fishing in the wrong pond lah.
