My Top 10 post for 2009 .

MUAHAHAH..this is gonna be fun . This post is some copy cat tradition year end shit . Every end of the year , many bloggers will do a “top post of the year” ..so , this blog gotta follow the trend to be cool right ?

I wanted to do this LAST YEAR , but i only have very few posts ( i started blogging since September ‘08 ) . So ,  quite stupid to do that lah..

I’ve been wanting to rate my own posts

I think the fun part of being a blogger is , i get to read all my crappy thoughts from Jan ‘09 to Dec ‘09 and see how much rubbish i’ve wrote.

Here are my personal ratings for this blog , 2009 .

1.The City of Shred

This gotta be number #1 for me . Some who have been reading this blog since day 1 knows . When i first started , this blog is about ranting , talking crap and posting simple guitar lessons .

This was my FIRST serious philosophy wannabe entry . It showed me the potential of this blog and it changed the way i blog ; from a kid trying to teach some random guitar lessons , to reality and philosophy . This post doubled my traffic and attracted many non musician readers to this blog .

The story is real . It was a turning point in my life where i started to see a bigger picture in the whole Malaysia’s Music Community . It tells a cruel reality. A musician who struggles with conflict , his band mate and himself .

2.Fish Story

Something short and sweet .

The Fish Story changed my life . From a guy trying grab everything , hoping to BUY happiness , to finding the true meaning of happiness.

This post was a self discovery and a self realization for myself , and it INSPIRED many philosophy post in this blog .

3.The Concept and The Practical Joker

The biggest lesson i’ve learned this year .

I learned to understand myself and the people around me.

I learned the reason why i cannot work with SUCH people , and why i CAN WORK with such people .

It helped me with my work . Now i know how to put people together so that they can work better as a team . I now know what sort of people i should avoid and what sort of people i could trust.

4.The Bigger Picture

Who moved my cheese ?

Chasing after something that is never ending , is never ending .

There is a big difference between getting something and happily getting something .  

5.Back to Dota.

Many will not understand why is this my number #5 .

Well , for me . Its real . Its about life .

Its about the people around you . Its about understanding yourself and understanding people ..

Its about planning your life STRATERGY , preparing for the worse and the best .

6.The Kid , The DJ and The Fall .

A painful lesson that i will never forget .

7.Two Face

I haven’t got the answer..still waiting … and thinking…and observing .

8.Commitment

Well , i don’t know . But i just like this post .

Maybe cause there’s a hot girl picture in it .

Maybe cause i was laughing my ass while writing it .

Maybe i managed to piss my bandmates off .(But shit , they now know my tactics)  

9.Cry for you . Because i am a jealous man .

Found my new year resolution

I have 3 now ..

“Every year , I only have ONE new year resolution . Which is “I want next year to be the best year of my life” .I tell myself that , every year .

I am gonna add another resolution for 2010 , I want 2010 to be the best year of my life and i want to be a guitarist that plays what i want to play . No more plain pussy passion .”

“My 2010’s resolution is , i wanna kill of as many fear , hate , jealousy and insecurities that i have in my life . I wanna learn how to rejoice with others , i wanna be happy for my peers , my competitors and my enemies “

10.When your hero fails you

I understood that there are things that won’t last forever , heck , some wouldn’t even last a year .

We gotta learn how to move on in life , instead of being stuck in the same shitty place .
