Good guitar, possibly one of the best Yamaha made outside USA and Japan. Too bad Yamaha can't still make guitars there. The poor quality of the CBS era Fenders and Norlin era Gibsons helped assist the Japanese in gaining market entry to create high-end guitars. I don't think the statement that the quality of Korean made guitars had fallen in recent times is true. Because many Qingdao, China and both Indonesian factories are owned by Korean OEMs, the "Korean companies" may be maintaining their market share or even thriving, but they are not getting contracts to produce guitars in their original Korean factories.
