I am back

I’ve been missing in action for the past few weeks . I thought i’ve already lost all my readers .
Surprisingly , my google analytic tells me otherwise . Thank you for those who came and check if i am updating this blog .

The truth is , i need a break from blogging . I need a new mission . During my break ,  I took the time to think about this blog . What is the direction for this year ? What do i want to achieve ?

Here is what i think . I’ve been a guitarist for over 12 years . Playing in a professional band for 7 years . I am in the musical instrument business (seriously) for almost 4 years .

I’ve seen many “useless” guitar brands who sell crappy guitars with a huge marketing hype (i kept silent about it because i want a good business relationship) , I’ve seen countless of beginners or intermediate player FAIL in choosing a great value & great playable guitar , i’ve seen countless of amps FAILING in a gig , i’ve experience overpriced guitar pickups that sounded horrible ..and i did nothing , i kept silent.

I always thought one should buy whatever he likes . I didn’t understand the true value of “money” . Until recently – when i get into watches , i learned how to spend money wisely , i learned what is true VALUE and what is NOT. Why is it important to support “GROUND BREAKING GUITAR MAKERS” and not “GUITAR for the masses” . Many people ignore guitars that deserves an appreciation , and many worship pointless guitars .

This year , i am going to dedicate this blog to educating beginners and intermediate players . What makes a good guitar ? What to AVOID ? Exposing them to the local scene , the Malaysian way .
