Of course , all these are just generalization . End of the day , we still need to compare by model to model basis . This is just a short guide . If you know your stuff , you roughly know why i DISLIKE some of the brands above .
Generally , I don’t like Schecters (you will find out why as i blog along) , but i like a few models such as the AX7 guitar . When i say i love anything by Music Man , yeah i mean it but there are exceptions such as Music Man Sub 1 . So don’t go quote me out of context .
Also , I will only talk about guitars available in M’sia or furthest , Singapore . Of course i am aware of brands like Vigier , Don Grosh , Zemaitis , Heritage guitars and i do not include them in my list . Let us be realistic , how often do you see one around here ? You can get it online ? Alright , go ahead and make that FIVE figure purchase on a guitar you never tried before . Let us think – Guitars in Malaysia for now . We’re not in the USA – they have 30 days return policy and stuff , we don’t , we are not protected . We gotta be knowledgeable on stuff we’re going to invest . We have to make the right decision .

ahha you don’t like schecter ke? For me i think schecter selling good guitars at very cheap prices. I’ve been loving my omen 7 extreme, i think even the stock pickups are good. I’ve always wanted a C1 Classic, damn pretty. Other than that, tak minat.
80′s Kramer is nice, but what’s the point of having Floyd Rose if there is no cavity to for total floating trem? That’s why in one of Ray C’s post he converted it for one of his customer.

i think u should separate it by price range.. its not fair to compare gibson, caparison, fender with indonesian epiphone, squier and ltd.. lol

i just saw Guthrie Govan on youtube reviewing the fretless french Vigier guitar recently, kinda cool! but u have to change your playing style on a fretless guitar, bending will not work, but slide’s ruled! anyone here have experience on fretless guitar before???
